How to Care for Your LADURRIE

LADURRIE pieces are crafted with sophisticated fabrics, impeccable finishing, and designs created to enhance every detail of the female body. For this reason, they require delicate care to preserve the beauty, comfort, and durability that define the brand.

Whether it's panties, a full set, or one of our nightwear pieces (such as nightgowns and robes), please follow these guidelines to care for each piece with intention.

1. WASHING — HAND WASH ONLY

All LADURRIE items must be hand washed. Machine washing may damage lace, tulle, elastic bands, and delicate trims.

Use only:

  • Cold or room temperature water

  • Mild liquid soap, free of dyes or strong perfumes

  • A moderate amount of detergent

Avoid completely:

  • Powder detergent

  • Bleach or chlorine

  • Strong fabric softeners

Special care:

  • Colored panties should be washed separately from white or neutral pieces

  • Light lace garments should be washed individually, especially in the first washes

2. DRYING — NATURALLY, AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT

After washing, do not wring out your pieces. Instead, gently press between a clean towel to remove excess water.

Dry in the shade, in a ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause:

  • Fading of fabrics

  • Loss of elasticity

  • Drying out of lace and tulle

Nightgowns, robes, and wireless bras should be laid flat on a clean, smooth surface to dry — never tumble dried or hung vertically.

3. IRONING — NOT RECOMMENDED

LADURRIE items should not be ironed. Heat damages delicate materials such as tulle, lace, and microfiber, and may compromise elastic and stitching.

Our pieces are designed with a natural drape that does not require ironing. To remove creases, hang the item for a few hours or gently smooth it with your hands.

4. SPECIAL CARE FOR WIRELESS BRAS AND NIGHTWEAR

  • Hand wash with mild soap and cold water

  • Lay flat to dry on a towel

  • Never hang by the straps or expose to direct sunlight

  • Store in their original shape, avoiding folding or compression

Avoid bending or crumpling pieces with delicate structure, fine lace, or sensitive straps.

5. HOW TO STORE YOUR PIECES

Proper storage keeps your garments looking new for much longer:

  • Padded bras: stack without compressing

  • Wireless bras: lightly folded or stored open

  • Panties: fold gently without crushing the sides

  • Nightgowns & robes: fold softly or hang on padded hangers

Tip: avoid damp or poorly ventilated spaces. You may use scented sachets or tissue infused with your favorite fragrance to preserve the signature scent.

6. HANDLE WITH CARE — FROM WEARING TO STORING

Lace, tulle, and microfiber require extra attention:

  • Avoid pulling, stretching, or catching on accessories

  • Remove rings or sharp jewelry before dressing

  • For travel, use individual fabric pouches to protect items in your luggage

  • Main fabric: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane

  • Intimate lining: 100% Cotton

Tulle & Lace Panties (Sensual Essencial Line)

  • Tulle: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane

  • Lace: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane

  • Intimate lining: 100% Cotton

Lightweight structure with functional design. Tulle and lace blend softness with comfort, and cotton ensures hygiene in intimate areas.

Bra & Panty Sets with Polyester Base

  • Base fabric: 97% Polyester / 3% Elastane

  • Details in lace or tulle: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane

  • Panty lining: 100% Cotton

Polyester is strategically used to add structure and durability where needed, without compromising softness or breathability — as the intimate area always remains lined with cotton.

Note: LADURRIE does not use animal-based fibers. All fabric choices are made to balance lightness, structure, and real comfort — with full transparency.

  • Main fabric: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane

  • Intimate lining: 100% Cotton

Same lightness as the nightgown, with the hygiene and comfort of cotton in intimate areas.

Robe

  • Base fabric: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane
    Flowy and elegant cut, comfortable fit and full freedom of movement.

Lace Details (in nightgown, panty, and robe)

  • Lace composition: 90% Polyamide / 10% Elastane
    Placed strategically to highlight femininity while preserving comfort and avoiding skin irritation.

Technical Notes

  • All pieces with lace or tulle include 100% cotton panty lining, even in the most sensual styles.

  • We do not use animal-based fibers.
